Heat's Skill Is Not Enough

June 13, 2011
On game 2, Heat was 15 points ahead in the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter and Mavs managed to take over and win the game and never lose hope.?But on this 6th game, Heat showed complacency on the court on the last 3 minutes. NBA Heat vs Mavs Skill is not enough to win. Add character and teamwork.?They simply don't have the resilience to win because money can't buy a team. John Maxwell commented, "Analysts labeled the Heat as a collection of whiners and disparaged their uneven performance...The Miami Heat nearly succumbed to the selfishness of its superstars, each of whom had been the undisputed leader of his team prior to joining together. The problem for the Heat has not been having too much leadership, but having three players accustomed to excelling at the same role." Paul understands teamwork. He said, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility consider others better than yourselves..." Philippians 2:3 On the other hand, teamwork is hailed by Mavs.?In an interview Jason Terry said "Our faith in God, our faith in each other, is what prevailed. This team never gave up..." On another article,?John Maxwell said, "Skill can take you there, but character will keep you there". Another interesting thing about Mavs is their humility before God.?Doris Burke asked Jason Terry: "...what makes you so confident?" He answered: "My faith in God...to God be the glory. He gives me all the strength...". God said, "Those who?honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained!" 1 Samuel 2:30.
